1. I think the family was having a lot of tight times because the dad lost his job. Another reason the family was having tight times was because they didn't have much money. I know this because they didn't go to the lake which costs money and played in the sprinkler instead which was free.

1.I think the parents were crying because the kid found a pet to play with and he doesn't have to ask about having a dog. I know this because in the second to last picture had the boy playing with his cat. Another reason is because his dad said don't ask for a dog again.
The parents were crying when they saw the cat because the cat looked so cute.I know that because the parents were crying when they looked at the cat.
2.I think the parents were crying because the Dad lost his job.I know this because in the story he said he lost his job and he got really sad and started to cry.
Answering #2. The parents were crying when they saw the kid with the cat because when the parents saw the kid they were proud that she also found another animal to love. I know because in the story it tells that the kid wanted a dog but his mom and dad said it was tight at the time.
The parent's were sad because they saw how skinny the cat wasso they started to cry . I know this because it said the cat was really skinny when the boy found it in the trash can.
2.I think that the parents were crying because they were kind of sad that the cat was all hungery and stuff.I know that because the cat was just it the trash.

2.I think the cat got in the trash before the lid got closed.Beacause I know the cat was skinny so it must of gotten traped in the trashcan.
I think the parents were crying when there kid held the kitten because the dad lost his job and when you lose your job you don't get any money,and that may be why they were crying.Or the parents were crying because they didn't have enough money for a dog. I know this because the dad lost his job and when you lose your job you have no money and the story said he lost his job.
I think the the parents were crying because all the hard times they had been through together and this is where they ended up. Also they had a new member joining the family and they already had a son to take care of.
I think the cat nocked the top off and someone put the top back not noticing that there was a cat inside the trash can.
3.I think the cat got in the trash can by somebody throughing him in there. I know this because people don't like some cats and they will through them in a trash can.
3.I think that the cat got in the trash when someone took off the lid.Because i know that people have to throw away stuff.
I think they were crying because it ment more money to spend.
3. I thank the cat got in the trash because Somone could have opened the lid and threw the cat in the trash because they might have thought the cat was dead.
We learned what to do in smart ideas. Our favorite thing that we did wasmakeing the web because we can m.ake dekarations. We also liked the story makeing they were both very fun. We like learning new things.
I think the family was having a lot of tight times because thy were a poor family.
