What does respect look like? Give an example of when you saw someone showing respect, or being respectful. The situation could have occurred at school, at home, at the grocery store, anywhere! Be specific!
Little Red!! I have seen my mother be very respectful!! I remeber that my cousin had a baby at an youg age and mybabsits for her because she it too young for a baby and her mother is always working on weekends!! I do not remeber but was this for homework? If it was would this count? I will have to check my agenda!! I have also been respectful to you I do listern to you in class and try my hardest to stick with you!! You have also been respectful to me you have never been distrespecful at school!! Being Respectful is important because being respectful is like manners and respectfulness is a way to ge around!! Love ya!!
A time that i saw respect was on the playground when someone fell down at rececs people who were playingwith her did not just leave her on the ground. Some people went to tell the teacher and other people helped her up.
I have seen my mom be respecetful to the people she works with. She asks her co workers for something really polite. Respect is when somebody listens and do what you are told. Respect is also when you don't interupt the teacher when she is talking.
I have seen my mom be respectful! My mom was using her manners at one of our frinds. She was saying how nice the food was and how nice the house looked.
A time I saw respect was is when my brother fell when he was on his heelys at an ice-rink. When he fell his friend helped him up. Someone I know that is respectful is my teacher Mrs. Blanco she is respectful around the room and especially when the pricipalis in the classroom.
Respect means to treat something nicely. An example for respect is when I play with my friends toys I treat them nicely I respect them. She respects my stuff to.
I respect by being nice to others and by saying my manners with other people. I use respect by using manners at school even when I burp I say exuse me but you might not hear me say that but I do. I can respect someone by saying I'm sorry. I've herd a song about respect it's called Respect r-e-s-p-c-t just a little bit ya. The song is on Are We Tere Yet.
Respect is when someone uses their manners when speaking to another person. I have experienced this at Harvest Ridge. Anytime I walk into a teacher's room to tell them something or to take one of their students for math tutoring, they say "Thank you" and they are always very appreciative when I help their students. You can also show repect by your actions. An example of this would be not putting your hands on someone else or their property.
Respect is paying attention and caring about others. I try to pay attention to the students who come in the office and show me respect by being patient, quiet and kind to one another. It gets very busy in the office and it is very helpful to me when they wait their turn. I try to show those students respect back by thanking them for their kind acts (and if it isn't too busy I usually have a sticker to give them!).
I have seen respect in many ways. Once I was at the grocery store and I was helping my mom shop so this kid bumped into a lady by the milk. She said exuse me and sorry.
Respect looks is when somebody does something nice for others. The last time I seen respect is when I was helping my dad packing to go to Texas. I helped him get the boat ready because he was taking it with him. I helped him with getting his fishing rods ready. I also helped him pack his clothes.
I saw a wonderful example of respect the other day while students were listening to a read-aloud on the carpet. One boy decided to sit up taller on his knees. He turned around and asked the boy behind him if he could stll see the pictures. The first boy showed respect by treating someone else the way that he would want to be treated.

I was respectful when I was at my friends house when I used my manners at the dinner table. Mrs. Kurtz(Allison's mom) thought my manners are good.
