Petals around the rose
Last night you taught a parent, brother or sister the game Petals around the rose. Using complete sentences, punctuation, and capitalization, describe the process that you went through. This is going to be taken as a reading grade. You need a minimum of six sentences.

At first I tried to let them figure it out. But then they kept on getting frustrated. So I started to give them a hint. But they still couldn't figure it out. So I started to give them more hints. Then they finaly got the trick. Then they kept on getting it.

When I went through the process with my parents I didn't have to give them hints at all! I let them try on their own and, they had it in about 4 mins. I wasn't shocked because my dad gets most things that I try to trick him with. My mom had a little trouble but, She had it a little bit after my dad did. When I went through it in class I didn't get it but, a third grader helped me out by giving me hints. It is very confusing!
Last night I taught my brother petals around the rose.At first it was hard because I didn't tell him any clues. After I told him don't count the even ones he kid of understood. When I told him that clue he got about 50% of them right. Then I just gave it away because he kept on whining because he never got it right. My brother was pretty good at petals around the rose. I thought it would be impossible to teach him!
I forgot to show my mom but i told her about the game. I will show my dad tonight. SORRy
That night before I went to sleep I taght my little brother and dad how to play Petals around the Ross. At first my brother was so mad because I keep on saying " The name off the game is Petal around the ross, the name of the game is very inpertint the name of the game is Petal around the ross." My brother didn't want to play because he didn't know how to. It was about 10 to 20 minutes into the game when my dad told me that, I had to tell them how to play. So I did tellthem so I did not get in to troble. One time I put in about 16 in. My brother said in the morning "I love playing Pettal aronr the Rose." I wanted to teach my grandmother how to play but, we had to leave to go to school and my dog didn't stop jumping up on me. She would not leave me alone for one second.
Last night it was hard because my mom kept getting frustrated.Then when I called on my brother he said the answer I said no.Then I tolled him the answer and he said no stop lieing Derek!Then my mom said if you keep asking me qustions and you'll be grouded.
I did not teach my parents to play Peteles around the rose. But if i did i think it would be very hard for them to figure the game out.At first i forgot the name of the game then i remembered.I also forgot how to play the game.In class i could not figure it out.Latter i did get it.
I first said, "how many peddles around the rose mom ." She did not get it. Then I said again, "how many peddles around the rose. I said, " just think a little. " She still didn't get it.You have to find out how many dots are around the middle dot.
I had to play with my friend.She did not no what to say but at the end
I told her.She new what to do and we played with her mom. And after a couple of turns she new what to do. So I play some of my other friends. And we had fun so it was great and i liked it a lot.
When I taught my parents Petals around the rose they both were asking me what kind of game it was. I said I gave them a big hint when I told them it was in the name of the game was very important. They were so confused that when I gave them another big hint that they started to know how to play the game. Then they started to get them right. When I asked them what the trick to the game was? They said you have to not count the middle dot in the numbers 5 and 3 but count the outside dots.
It was hard to teach my mom the game.It took one hour to find out how to play it.I played it once then i let her try about 5 times.On the 6 try she finaly got it.After we played a lot but she wasen't geting it because she was tired.I loved playing it with her.This morning i got on my lab top and played it for about 5 minutes then i went on differint things.Me and my mom injoyde playing this game at our house and we are going to play it agin tonight.I forgot to tell you about this i dident get to play it with my dad but i wiil next weekend he has me and i will teach him how to play it too.
If i was to tech my parent I wound teach them like this. But frist I wound use two dise then three dise. I wound role the dise then say how many petals around the rose.They wound say what.Then I wound teach them. They wound then say okay.
I did the petals around the rose with my mom and dad. My mom got it right away. She got it right away because I kind of told them how to do the game. I told them how to do it in the begging instead of the end. My dad still doesn't know how to do it.I found out how to do it when you told us how to do it at the end.
Well I would first play and play with them. Then they would give-up. Next I would explain it. Then they would get it. I know that because they are my parents. That is how I would do it.
