My first impression was suprised because it started off at a good start. I thought I would not of liked the beging of the book. My prediction is that May Bird will get cought with monsters because it is a monster book and a scary book and to some people that would be scary becuase she might not come out and that would be scary and sad.
I love this book!! My first impression was that i was scared, because everybody just vanished. I predict that next time there will be a ghost in May-bird's house because the person named Bertha lived there before her and she vanished to like the people who got in the swamp. Well that is about it.
The prolog of May-Bird and the Ever After is freaky but cool . It talks about people going into the woods and dieing the beginning of the book May-Bird get's a cat. I predict that May-Bird might get stuck in the woods and never come back. Then she might find a way to get back home. Then the monsters might come to find her but they don't find her. Or May Somber Kitty might scare away the monsters and leave and go home.That's what I think.
I predict that May-Bird is going to go in the crepy woods because she always talks about the woods.
My fist in impression book was that it would not be that good at all.I thought it would be weird. I predict next time the little girl will get lots and she will be very scary

My first impression was that the book was going to be spooky!I think it's going to be spooky because there was a lot of people that vanished before she moved. I predict that May is going to go into the forest and is going to be missing for months,will be caught and will escape.I think that because people have vanished and had not been seen ever again.I dn, think she is going to die.
May-Bird and the Ever is cool and spoocy. She has a cat named Somber Kitty it is called that because it is allways sad.The cat has allmost
no hair.May-Bird wares black all the time!

This book is ok. Because it is not real if it was real I would be frighten.I am wondering how the three men could die from three feet water?The cat could could help May Bird from not dieing in the woods.why couldn't she smile.
My first impression was that I would really like this book but now I think it will be a little scary.I have a prediction that May-Bird will being to like the lake.Also I think she will get cought by a monster.But so far i like this book!
I think May Bird was a really great book! I love the way the aouthor used such great words. It really gets me into it! I predict as soon as she is off of being grounded from the woods she will go back in to find out what took a hold of her. Thats when I think she will fall in and not be able to get out. At first this book did not sound so good because of the title and what the back cover said. That is my blog.

my first impression was surprised because it didn't start really good, and it got better and better. I predict the light underwater was a zombie walking with a lantern. On the cover it had a zombie coming out of the tree. Now that were farther in the book I'm starting to like the book better
I think the book is ok. Only areal book can make me scared. I know gohst are not real and this book is boring in the begining. The book is not interesting yet. So far she has found some sort of map. Maybee to the land of the dead! But she does not even know about it yet. When she does I wonder what she will find. She has also found out that there is a thing in a lake across the bush thing she can never pass through.
I liked NO LOVED the way the book started!! I even have a predition. I think that May-Bird & her cat will go in the woods when she is still grounded. Because she dosn't seem ,like someone who'd stay anywhere she was grounded from for long.

I like the begining of the book because the book is scary and I like scary things, but when she saw the light and then got pulled into the lake that really caught my attention. When we read it tomorrow I think she will sneak out of the house to go to the lake again. If she does sneak out of the house I think she will go by the lake again and this time really get pulled into the lake and won't be able to get out of the lake and her mom will be very worried. One aother thing she might move away. Well that's all I like about this book so far.
I relly like this book . I like this book because you always want to know more. There are a lot of simaliys too and that gives you a better visualization. The prolog was extremliy freaky.

Well Tiny, lets just say that almost drowning is a terrible experience. So most people don't smile. But wierdly, some do.

I agree with your idea about May- Bird not going to die.I don't think she will because she does not stay in places when she gets scared.Remember the time when she was by the lake when she got scared she left.Anyway I was just saying I agree!
dude terminator, how is dieng funy or cool? To the people that are friends or parents or children it is a heavy loss. Remind who is the real terminator again not like in blogs but for real?

I think you need to add a little more to what you think about the book. I don't know where you got that somber kitty means he / she is always sad. I didn't see any thoughts of yours and we all want to know what you think about the book. Well that's all about yours I have.

I've got another prediction. I think the gosts in May-Bird's house are her drawings come to life. I also have a text-self conection. In the book May-Bird has gosts in her house and I have gosts in my house. I know it's hard to belive ,but it's true.
When May-Bird went home after she got scared I got scared becuse when some noise was tapping on something I thought it was her mother but it was a monster a scary on two. The second time a ghost poped up was in her bath tube she wasn't scary she almost looked like a real person.
I agree with kitty tail. That she will go back into to the woods when she gets ungrounded. But I disagree with her falling in and drowning.I also agree with b-rando. That she will get stuck there like the trappers. But I also think she'll get away and get seen again.Those are the only things I saw that Iagree or disagee with

I have a question about the book.My question is that why didn't Pumkin just ask May if she could come whith him.
I predict may bird is going to go back in the forest in the water and the monster in the water is going to get her.
