Earthquake!
This morning at approximately 4:38 AM the Saint Louis Area experienced an earthquake. Tell us what you were thinking as you felt the earth shake!

Me and My Buddy were sleeping the whole time.When Relyt woke up he herd that there was an earthquake so did john.John's mom woke up in the middle of the night.Relyts dad had woke up to. He herd the whole house shaking.It was also heard in Iowa.
I felt scared because I have never felt anything like it before. I thought it was my neighbors dog because he shakes the bed but when I woke up to see what it was I knew it had to be a earthquake. During the night I didn't feel the earthquake. In the morning I was suprised that I slept through an earthquake in the night.
We felt excited because it was our first actual EARTHQUAKE!! We didn’t quite know what it was at first, but we were excited to hear it was an earthquake. When we heard it was an earthquake we ere pretty excited and it was so cool we had one. We also learned a lot, like the earthquake spread to 16 sates and there were 6 after shocks. We think it was a fun experience to have an earthquake because there probably won’t be another one for a long time.
When we woke up we herd about the earthquake.
We herd about it on the news. It was a 5.2.
The class was talking about it. Are friends told us that they could feel the earthquake in the morning.
When we woke up the next morning I herd the earthquake was 5.4. We where sleeping when the earthquake happened. When we both woke we had things lying on the floor. We where surprised because we never felt an earthquake.
Both of us have never been in an earthquake before .We was both surprised by the earthquake, we were also both asleep too. when I woke up my mom told me that their was an earthquake, I didn’t believe her. Then I watched the news. Found out that their actually was an earthquake I was astonished. Everybody was talking about it on the bus. Maybelline was asleep and woke up and her about it, and her brother said he fell out of bed. then when I got to school their was an after shock.

choo choo & pink panda, choo choo was asleep same as pink panda.choo choo didn't think it was very interesting. Pink panda thouht it was very cool.choo choo was feeling weird today.choo choo's dog's Collar was shaking.

Lizzy felt scared because Lizzy have never felt anything like it before. I thought it was my neighbors dog because he shakes the bed but when Lizzy woke up to see what it was I knew it had to be an earthquake. During the night Cowman didn't feel the earthquake. In the morning Cowman was surprised that I slept through an earthquake in the night.
My partner and I were asleep when the earthquake happend.But we heard alot about it in the morning.We heard that it stated in Illinois we also heard that the earthquake had 18 after shocks.The after shocks werent as bad as the reall earthquake.The news told my partner and I that there might be more after shocks.That's what we heard and learned about the earthquake and the after shock.

80's rocker-The earthquake was from 12:30 to 4:30a.m. I felt like I was having a seizure because the ground was shaking. I was really freaked out! My friend said, that he thought his big brother put him in the washing machine because the ground was shaking.
Peanut-I didn't feel anything because I was sleeping like a baby.When I woke up at 8:00 the next morning my mom said there was an earthquake, I was surprised because I've never heard about an earthquake in Missouri.

Hidey and monkey dude (that’s me) did not feel the earthquake .I guess we are heavy sleepers to sleep though an earthquake. Hidey saw the news but monkey dude didn’t, even though the earthquake was really in Illinois people still felt it in Missouri. Monkey dude and Hidey slept though both earthquakes. Earthquakes are really dangerous and can hurt people. Hidey is asking where earthquakes come from.
