My feelings were sad because they hung Pink and threw him in a lime pit. Another reason I was sad is the maurauders shot Pink's mom and Pink and Say held her hand until it didnn't feel warm any more. Then they buried her.
I felt horrible just thinking about it. I was sad, glad, and mad I was glad because he is in heaven now. I was mad because they did not have to that. I was sad because they were just wrong.

When I read Pink and Say I felt sad/mad/happy. I felt sad because when Pink had gotten hung a few hours after being in the camp, I was mad that MoeMoe Bay died and, happy because Say grew old with many children!! The story is amoshnal.
I felt sorry for Pink and Say. I felt sorry because Ma Ma Bay died. It's always sad when somebody dies.
I felt sad because at the very end pink was hung and thrown in a lime pit. I thought it was sad because just because he was not white he was killed an it isn't right to be mean to pepole just because they are diffrent.

Pink and Say made me feel sad and happy. The way it was sad is that Moe Moe Bay died. The way it was happy was that the Pink and Say story was told for generations.
i felt happy and sad. I was sad because some people in the story died. I was happy because they were fighting for our civle rights. I really enough this book.
I was sad because pink's mom died because the maraudar's shot her. I was also because pink got hung and thrown in a lime pit.
I was sad because Moe Moe Bay was killed and, that Pink was hung after the men seperated the two boys. I was happy because Say had a wife, childeren,and grandchilderen too. I was sad about Moe Moe Bay died was she was Pinks mother and was caring for Pink and Say. I would be sad if my mom died too. I was sad that Pink died because he was not very old he was just15 or 14 year old and the people hung him and only put his body in a lime pit. I was happy that Say got to live a long happy live.
I was glad the way the book ended.The reson was that pink and say survived the army.The way i know this is because pink and say were standing there smiling in there army suits.I wrely like this book because it has alot of exitment.what i meen is that you turn the page and there's more exitment waiting there for you to read the page.I realy enjoyed the tis book.
I felt sad because Pinkus got hung and throne in a lime pit. It is just mean what white poeple did to black poeple it's not fair.
Yesterday we read Pink and Say. It made me feel happy and sad. The sad feeling came from Moe Moe Bay getting shot by the Marauders and the fact that Pink died because he was hung. I think he was hung for 2 reasons. He was back and he was for the Union. That makes me think, why wasn't Say hung? He was for the Union too. My happy feeling came from when Say actually escaped from the Confederate Army.
I felt upset that the mother died but, I was glad that the boys had a long life but, also I was grossed out because one of them got thrown into a lime pit, also I felt exsited.I think I felt that way because I mit be a amotionle person or because I mit not have herd it before.
Wow. I am really impressed with the posts on the blog for Pink and Say! It seems that all of your comprehension levels of a very serious book at right on target. I agree with what Mr. Trash said about how white people and black people weren't treated the same way. It was unfair! Death is a hard topic to deal with, which unfortunately is a fact of life that is so often prevalent during times of war. Great job guys! I look forward to hearing more comments from you :)

I think that this book was sad because Pink's mom [Mo Mo Bay] was shot by the marauders. I also have another opinionits that say went to jail for a couple of months,and Pink was hung and thrown in a lime pit.
I do not agree with aa because he did not tell to many deatels.
I agree with Jelly she has a point! Say was from the Union. It was cool to relize when Moe Moe Bay said Say was going to have many children and,live a long life that really happened!! I have seen many movies like that and read stories. They are really alike.
I agre with kitkat,I felt happy because Say did have a wife and kids and was a grandpa. I also agreed with Mr. Trash because if I was a black man I would want to be treated exactly like the white people, It doesn't matter what color your skin is or who you are,we are all the same in different ways.
I was mad, happy, and sad. I was mad beacause they treated black people so unfair. I agree with Cutiepie,that Pink went to a better place. Also because Say had a good life. I felt sad because,Pink got hung hours from prisen. I think he got hung because he was black.
